| From 1 April 2009, Cheshire West and Chester Council is the new Council replacing Chester City Council, Ellesmere Port & Neston Borough Council, Vale Royal Borough Council and the western part of Cheshire County Council. The pages and documents through this website may contain branding and information relevant to the old councils, but are being made available because they are still relevant to our customers. We are continuing to update all materials on the Cheshire West and Chester website and aim to remove all references to the old Councils by the end of the year (2009). |
Wind Farms in Vale Royal
Members’ Bulletin
Report of: Head of Planning and Building Control Services
Title: Wind Farms in Vale Royal - Latest Position
1.0 Purpose of Report
My previous report in the Members Bulletin explained the possibility of two planning applications being submitted for small scale Wind Farms in Vale
Royal.
I now have more information concerning a proposal at Aston House Farm, Aston Lane, Aston.
A pre-application public consultation event undertaken by proposed developers will take place on 15th and 16th March from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Aston Village
School. This will comprise an exhibition displaying the proposals.
Details of the Consultation exercise will be posted on the Council’s web site. The developers have also been advised to consult the Parish Councils affected
by the proposal perhaps at a joint meeting. A Press release is also to be issued by the developer. The Ward Member has also been informed of the
proposed consultation exercise.
