Adopted Local Plan
The Adopted Vale Royal Borough Local Plan First Review Alteration was adopted by the Council on 16 June 2006. It sets out the Council's policies for development and the use of land in the Borough between the period 2006 to 2016.
The Plan is written to reflect national, regional and strategic policies. It provides, along with the Regional Spatial Strategy, the statutory framework within which decisions on planning applications are made.

The document can be purchased from the Council Offices at a cost of £100 (add £10 Postage and Package) Local residents can purchase the Local Plan at a reduced price of £75 (add £10 Postage and Packaging) upon proof of residency.
Individual parts of the Plan may also be purchased as follows:
Text only £65 (£48.75 Local Residents) add £8 postage and packaging
Plans only £35 (£26.27 Local Residents) add £2 postage and packaging
