From 1 April 2009, Cheshire West and Chester Council is the new Council replacing Chester City Council, Ellesmere Port & Neston Borough Council, Vale Royal Borough Council and the western part of Cheshire County Council. The pages and documents through this website may contain branding and information relevant to the old councils, but are being made available because they are still relevant to our customers. Aim
The overall aim of the Community Safety Wardens is to build community confidence by:

The Wardens, who have no enforcement powers, will carry out the following functions:

Service Standards
The Wardens prvide a high level of service at all times and aim to meet the following six service standards:

The scheme is supported and part funded by the Borough Council and from partner agencies such as Weaver Vale Housing Trust. The scheme will also liaise and work in partnership with local Neighbourhood Policing Units. For further information please see the Community Safety Partnership website.
